We work with a range of Tray profiles across all the major suppliers, giving us a unique opportunity to be able to
approach any Tray project with vast experience, knowledge and backing from our suppliers.
Some details to be aware of when choosing your product:
There are two types of Tray profiles:
(1) Traditional, EuroTray profiles which are laid over plywood substrate;
(2) non traditional Tray profiles that can be laid over timber purlins, similar to a standard profile longrun roof.
Eurostyle – Roll Cap

TRS Angle Seam
TRS Angle Seam is a wide tray roofing system. It is fixed to solid substrates such as plywood or timber sarking. Angle Seam is the ideal cladding for roof, facade, soffit and fascia areas. Using traditional European techniques, it enhances the style of any structure.
TRS Super Seam
Super Seam is TRS latest tray system for roofing & cladding providing sleek lines and wider pans giving off an elegant European look without the additional cost of a substrate thus reducing costs. Super seam is available in a variety of widths. We can offer 250 & 450 Wide pans as our most cost effective widths for manufacture and installation.
Generally, a Tray roof laid over plywood achieves a better aesthetic result, as it eliminates some of the opportunity for *oil-canning.
*Oil-canning is an inherent characteristic of gauge cold formed metal products, particularly products with broad flat areas like Tray profiles. It is seen as waviness or distortion in the flat surfaces. Oil canning does not affect the products strength or performance. The architect, builder and homeowner need to be aware that oil canning may affect the overall aesthetic outcome. Oil canning may occur during the roll-forming process and or during installation and where thermal expansion occurs.
